Lifelong Learning (also known as LLL) is relatively a new concept that refers to the continuous, voluntary and self-motivated pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional purposes. As such, it not only enhances social inclusion, active citizenship and personal development, but also competitiveness and employability.
The term “Lifelong Learning” recognizes that learning is not confined to childhood or the classroom, but takes place throughout life and in a range of situations. Learning can no longer be divided into a place and time to acquire knowledge (school) and a place and time to apply the knowledge acquired (the workplace). Instead, learning can be seen as something that takes place on an ongoing basis from our daily interactions with others and with the world around us.
With this in mind, inma Training & Development Center took the initiative to build its innovative platform that shall enhance, encourage and promote this concept through the design and implementation of its Lifelong Learners Club (LLC®); a Platform focusing on creating an appropriate ground for taking advantage of the various opportunities towards self-development through knowledge and experience sharing in addition to the formal education and training, so that Every Aspect of Life becomes a Learning Experience.
This blog is one of the many tools inma TDC has adopted to allow knowledge sharing in all areas and fields. Thus, we are glad to welcome your contribution, feedback, interaction and suggestions that will certainly enrich the knowledge and experience of all our members, followers and readers.
